Job summary

Brighter Day is seeking compassionate individuals for a House Manager Direct Care Professional role in Abilene, TX. You will provide direct care, support daily living activities, and help individuals achieve personal goals in home settings.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, following individualized care plans, and documenting care activities while promoting safety and independence for those supported.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain background check.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Able to attend a paid 2-week orientation.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Implement individualized care plans and document as required.
• Manage staff and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Support independence and participation in recreational activities.
