Job summary

Integrated Community Services in Abilene, TX is hiring Day Program Caregiver staff to provide personal care for adults with developmental disabilities in a day activity setting.

Ideal candidates have caregiving or CNA/Home Health experience; on-the-job training is provided. Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Benefits include health insurance after 90 days, 401K after 1 year, and vacation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education.
• No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person.
• Clear Background Check and DMV Checks may be required.

Integrated Community Services is now hiring Day Program Caregiver staff positions in the Abilene area to provide personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities in an adult day activity setting.

The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.

On-the-job training is provided!

Shift: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:00AM – 4:00PM

Day Program Caregiver Duties include:

• General supervision and monitoring of individuals served.
• Teaching specialized training objectives to acquire independent living skills.
• Assistance with grooming and toileting
• Supervision and assistance during meals
• Supervision during recreational activities
• Facility house cleaning
• Driving company vehicles
• Communication with co-workers and office staff
• Specialized documentation

Qualifications

• Valid and current Texas Driver's License
• Clear Background Check
• Clear DMV Check

• No history of Medicaid fraud.
