Job summary

Renewed Horizons is seeking a Staff Supervisor to lead our Direct Support Professionals, ensuring safe, high-quality care across homes in Hayden, Idaho. You’ll schedule staff, train new DSPs, mentor teams, and step in to cover shifts as needed while supporting a mission-driven, supportive workplace.

The role emphasizes leadership, clear communication, and problem-solving in a compassionate setting, with a consistent weekday schedule and an on-call rotation every four weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous DSP or related care experience required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance & reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.
• Leadership or supervisory experience a plus but not required — we will train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain staff schedules for multiple locations.
• Provide training and guidance for new DSPs.
• Offer mentorship and real-time coaching for staff.
• Help solve day-to-day issues as they arise in homes.
• Have supportive conversations to encourage professional growth.
• Fill in and work DSP shifts as needed to ensure coverage.
• Participate in an on-call rotation every 4 weeks.
• Maintain compliance with documentation, safety, and care standards.
