Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist guests with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
4. Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
5. Clean guestrooms as required.
6. Follow all emergency procedures.
7. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and store it appropriately.
8. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
