Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton South Jordan Salt Lake City is seeking a House Person to clean and maintain public hotel areas in line with brand standards and sustainability goals.

You will greet guests, inspect spaces, perform cleaning, handle linen, report maintenance, and assist when needed, while upholding safety and EarthView practices. The work environment requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Schedule varies including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Housekeeping experience required or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks accordingly.
• Collect trash from service landings and dispose of in outside dumpsters.
• Vacuum and dust guest corridors.
• Pickup and transport bed linen to the laundry collection site.
• Deliver clean linen to assigned sections.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas.
• Respond to guest inquiries and assistance.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing satisfaction.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits and follow MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Your Background and Skill

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
