Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as required.
• Know and assist with emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment and storage areas properly.
• Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds frequently, and/or 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous manner.
