Scope of Position

The House Attendant responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Responsibilities include delivering guest requests, setting up furniture in guest rooms, removing items from hallways, and transporting debris, room service trays, soiled linens, and trash to service areas. They also ensure the service closets are stocked with supplies, towels, and linens.

Position Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Focus on guest needs.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism and a service-oriented attitude with guests and team members.
• Follow standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Know hotel services and facilities to assist guests and members.
• Understand Safety Data Sheet specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Perform duties of Room Attendant, Turndown Attendant, and Linen Runner as needed.
• Complete daily assignments and report to the office coordinator.
• Return cleaning supplies and equipment to proper locations.
• Keep service closets stocked with supplies, towels, and linens.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from guest floors for laundry pickup.
• Complete guest requests within the designated time frame.
• Clean balconies, stairwells, elevators, and chute rooms.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Education

• High school diploma; experience in a large hotel preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• English communication skills; second language is a plus.
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in duties.
• Flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 100 pounds.
• Stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift.
