Food People Restaurant Group in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee operations for one location. You will manage Front of House, Sushi and Back of House functions, coach managers, and ensure excellent food quality, service, and safety.

You will recruit, hire, train staff, create schedules, monitor financial performance, control inventory and costs, and drive revenue while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Open availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure a seamless and profitable dining experience.
• Lead, manage and motivate the restaurant staff, promoting a positive work environment and high-quality service.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
• Create staff schedules, manage shifts, and allocate responsibilities efficiently.
• Monitor financial performance by analyzing reports, controlling expenses, and maximizing revenue.
• Manage inventory, ordering and restocking while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
• Hold regular staff meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure loyalty.
• Document Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims per protocol.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in operations.
• Uphold brand standards through leadership, communication, and professionalism.
