Job summary

University of Utah is seeking multiple hourly Research Assistants to support RMCOEH Center research activities in Salt Lake City. Responsibilities include data collection, data entry, and assisting researchers with analyses and manuscript preparation.

Qualifications

Equivalency statement: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
Strong organizational and data management skills including the coding of audio and video transcripts.

Responsibilities

Compiles data from various sources including interviews, literature sources, and medical and genealogical records.
Enters information into department's computer system.
Assists researchers in performing data analyses in SAS, Excel, NVIVO and other programs.
Prepares manuscripts and presentation materials (slides, charts, graphs, handouts).
Searches sources and evaluates applicability of data to research subject.
May assist in data collection and interaction with study participants.
Drafts correspondence and responds to requests from agencies.
