Job summary

University of Utah is seeking Hourly Research Assistants to support the clinical research program and laboratory activities. The role involves front desk duties, filing, and clerical tasks across departments.

You will recruit participants, verify eligibility, and enroll subjects; schedule visits and maintain records; and assist with transport of samples and equipment as needed. There are three levels (I-III) with corresponding pay bands.

Qualifications

• Equivalency statement: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk and clerical duties supporting clinical research and laboratory programs.
• Recruit participants, verify eligibility, and enroll subjects for studies.
• Schedule participant visits and maintain study records.
• Transport samples or laboratory equipment as needed.
