Job summary

JRI Hospitality Management, Inc. in Texas seeks an Hourly Manager to coach and develop restaurant team members, oversee daily operations, control labor and food costs, and deliver friendly, made-to-order service with a focus on hospitality and safety.

You will often lead shifts, recruit and retain staff, and help create a fun, high-performing work culture. Ideal candidates have prior restaurant experience, strong communication, and a self-starting attitude, with flexibility to work days, nights,

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Prior restaurant and/or hospitality experience.
• A hospitality focus and strong communications skills.
• Ability to help build a team, then mentor team members for success.
• Able to learn new skills, self-starting personality, maintain professional appearance and manners.
• Available to work a variety of hours to include days, nights, and weekends.
• Experience in operations, management, inventory, scheduling & guest relations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily operations, including leadership, motivating team members, meeting expectations, controlling labor and food costs.
• Build relationships with guests and ensure high-quality service.
• Lead the restaurant during shifts to ensure smooth operations, speed of service, hospitality and safety & cleanliness.

In this role, you help lead the team delivering made-to-order menu items for guests with a unique mix of fun, food, and hospitality.Key to the success of the restaurant, Hourly Managers assist management with daily operations, including leadership, motivating team members, meeting expectations, controlling labor and food costs, and building relationships with guests. Hourly Managers often lead the restaurant during their shift, ensuring smooth operations with an emphasis on speed of service, hospitality and safety & cleanliness.
