Job summary

Andy's Frozen Custard is seeking a full-time Shift Manager to ensure each shift runs smoothly. You will train new associates, keep calm under pressure, open and close the store, and uphold high standards while delivering excellent customer service.

In this role you will lead a fast-paced team, model great work ethic, and help maintain a clean, guest-friendly environment. Reliable transportation and flexibility for late nights, weekends, and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 6+ months of proven management experience in the food service industry or related leadership role.
• Hands-on position; must be able to physically work all shifts up front taking care of guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Train new associates, remain calm and lead by example.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• 6+ months of proven management experience in the food service industry or a related leadership role.
• Hands‑on position; must be able to physically work all shifts up front taking care of guests and staff.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, full of energy.
• Lead by example and uphold high standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Coach and provide feedback to the team.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Full‑time availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid employment track record with positive references.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
• Constant computer, point‑of‑sale register, and equipment usage.
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of wrist and spine.
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around fountain area.
• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
