Job summary

Andy's Frozen Custard is looking for a dedicated Shift Manager to ensure smooth operations at our store in Edmond, Oklahoma. The Shift Manager will be responsible for opening and closing the store, training new associates, maintaining high product quality, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of management experience in food service.

Our Shift Managers are responsible for making sure each shift runs smoothly! You will play a key role in opening and closing the store, training new associates, staying calm at all times, ensuring product quality, and providing exceptional customer service while serving the best frozen dessert in the world to the Dallas, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Orlando area and beyond.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 or older to be considered.
• At least 6 months of proven management or leadership experience in the food service industry or a related field.
• This is an extremely 'hands on' position, so you must be able to physically work all shifts up front while taking care of guests and staff (not an office job).
• Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy.
• Must lead by example and uphold high standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must coach and give constant feedback to help the team grow.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be available to work full time, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Solid employment track record with positive references.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
• Constant computer and point‑of‑sale register use.
• Frequent rotation of wrist and spine.
• Constant reaching, turning, and precision work around the fountain area.
• Constant speaking and exchanging ideas.
• Clear vision at near and/or far distances.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
