Jack’s Pizza is seeking an energetic hourly supervisor to manage the Castleton store. You’ll open/close, oversee daily operations, keep the store presentable, and ensure profitability while building customer loyalty and upholding food quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, personal responsibility for shift growth, and alignment with our customer-first mission. Expect 25–35 hours weekly across days, evenings, weekends, and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet goals.
• Attention to math and basic computer skills.
• Willing to work 25–35 hours per week and varied shifts.
• Prepared to lift up to 40 lbs and provide excellent customer service.

Performs entry-level supervisory tasks such as opening or closingthe store, overseeing daily store operations, maintaining the store’s presentation, ensuring the store’s profitability, maintaining and building customer loyalty and adhering to the company’s high standards of product quality. This position requires a leader who takes personal responsibility for the growth and success of their shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Motivate self and team members to work together to achieve goals
• Receive deliveries and follow all food safety procedures
• Have and build confidence in others pertaining to the company’s direction, values and methods
• Provide excellent service, ensuring that you treat customers with respect, dignity and courtesy
• Train, guide and lead other team members in company culture, procedures and expectations
• Master and perform all store operations; answering the phone, preparing food, engaging with customers, etc.
• Monitor timing of calls, production and delivery, with a drive to meet (and beat) customer promise times
• Make daily decisions regarding time management
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge
• Maintain food safety by adhering to Board of Health regulations
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Understand the mission statement, “We Take Your Pizza Personally”, its purpose and how it relates to building customer loyalty on a daily basis, and instilling this purpose in all team members
• Maintain fixed costs including, but not limited to labor and food costs
• Understand the need to be detailed in personal appearance and hygiene

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work and accomplish goals with minimal supervision
• Fundamental math and computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Fired up to handle day-to-day challenges in a fast paced work environment that may be stressful at times
• Willing to work 25-35 hours a week
• Willing to work days, evenings, weekends and varying shifts
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure, and always be honest and punctual
• Enjoys interacting with people
• Ability to relate to diverse backgrounds
• Good listening and communication skills – oral, written & body language
• Self-motivated, driven and dedicated to reaching goals
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
