Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a Lead Person - Distribution in Lakeville, MN to guide a shift of associates on distribution tasks, ensure productivity, safety, and teamwork, and step in as Team Leader when needed.

The role requires leadership, experience with warehouse systems, and the ability to train and reallocate staff to meet deadlines, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of distribution experience in at least two departments (receiving, replenishment, order picking, returns, shipping, inventory control) required.
• Minimum 1 year working with Warehouse Management Systems, Radio Frequency Devices, Freight Manifest Systems, forklifts, and conveyors required.
• One year of lead, or area coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shifts start up meetings, ensure all associates are assigned tasks, reassign associates between tasks/departments to meet workload requirements/operational priorities.
• Monitor associate performance to ensure standards for productivity, safety, customer service, and teamwork are met; provide feedback and coaching as required.
• Ensure proper use and care of facility equipment; report incidents per safety policy.
• Assist department team leaders in accomplishing the daily distribution mission and fill in for leaders in their absence.
