Job summary

Houlihan’s at Q Casino + Resort in Dubuque is seeking a friendly host/hostess to welcome guests, seat them promptly, and coordinate dining room flow.

You will balance cash, operate the Micros system, accept reservations, and work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth guest experience. Weekend availability and 18+ are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate Micros register and cash handling equipment.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at available tables.
• Manage reservations and direct waitstaff to sections.
• Balance cash and handle registers during shift.
• Display buffet menu and seating signs.
• Ring up guest checks and assist with timing of seating.
• Maintain table cleanliness and reset tables between guests.
