Job summary

Silverado Casino Investments LLC in Fernley, NV is seeking a guest services position to greet and seat guests, take to-go orders, and manage cash/credit transactions.

You will clear and wipe tables, refill beverages, assist servers with food delivery, and ensure guests receive excellent service in a timely manner.

Candidates should have basic math skills, cashier and bussing experience preferred, and be proficient in English; POS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months cashier experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• 6 months bussing experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
• High School level math: Adding, subtracting.
• Experience with POS system preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Responsible for seat guests in a timely manner, handle all calls and cash/credit transactions; assist the server’s by clearing and setting tables, taking and delivering beverages to guests, and any other tasks that allow the server’s to give our guests excellent service in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• 6 months previous cashier experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• 6 months previous bussing experience preferred.

Language Ability

• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.

Math Ability

• High School level math: Adding, subtracting.

Reasoning Ability

• Must be able to learn server stations and be able to seat guests equally between those stations.

Knowledge/Skill requirement

• Must have a basic knowledge of beverage brands, drink preparations and applicable health standards.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to describe all menu items, prices and methods of preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
