Job summary

The Westin Buckhead Atlanta, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support hotel operations. You will receive, verify, and process all goods, coordinating with Food & Beverage and culinary teams.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to stand and move for extended periods. The position offers competitive pay and hotel staff benefits.

Qualifications

• One to two years shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and computer skills needed to order hotel’s items.
• Understanding of how to track deliveries and outgoing items.
• Must stand and exert mobility for up to 5 hours.
• Must bend, stoop, squat, stretch and push/pull equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to receive all F&B products.
• Monitor the grades and quality of products received to ensure they meet hotel standards.
• Participate in monthly departmental meetings in Food and Beverage.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
