Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a dependable Steward to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and equipment, working closely with culinary and banquet teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Candidates should be physically capable, able to multitask, and ready to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality preferred.
• Multitasking and customer service skills required.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Able to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning.
• Organize and store cleaned items for easy access.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters and equipment spotless.
• Assist culinary and banquet teams with equipment and supplies.
• Deliver clean plates and utensils to kitchen or service areas.
• Dispose of trash, recycling and food waste per hotel standards.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock.
