Job summary

Caravan Court in Arlington, TX seeks a diligent kitchen steward/housekeeping assistant to support chefs and maintain cleanliness across the hotel’s kitchen and related areas. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, washing floors, scrubbing walls, keeping dishes and equipment clean, taking out trash, and assisting with banquet setup while following health codes and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the Chefs with the cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Unloading delivery trucks from vendors and using FIFO method.
• Wash all floors, power wash when need be.
• Clean the hot boxes regularly
• Make sure all dishes and equipment are clean and put back in their proper place.
• Take out trash and break down boxes.
• Sweep and mop all walk-in coolers, all kitchen areas and back banquet area.
• Assist Chefs with banquet plate up and ensure that they have clean plates and clean covers for event.
• Maintain a safe, clean operating environment, ensuring compliance to all local health codes and regulations.
