Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable and to support the Controller in daily financial activities for our hotel.

You will ensure accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP, assist with month-end closings, reconcile vendor statements, and help with tax filings. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential; Opera, Great Plains, and Micros experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience with Opera preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day finance operations.
• Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Supporting the Controller in directing financial activities.
• Preparing monthly financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Performing month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Handling vendor inquiries and reconciling vendor statements.
• Managing guest and client financial information inquiries.
