Job summary

Westin New Orleans, operated by Highgate Hotels, LP, is seeking a Security Supervisor for the PM shift to direct daily safety operations and protect guests and staff. You will patrol, coordinate emergency procedures, and ensure adherence to hotel rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during a shift. This full-time, hourly role requires flexibility for long hours and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff and assign shifts.
• Conduct training for security staff.
• Supervise investigations and incident reporting.
• Arrange and implement procedures for emergency situations (fire, threats, hurricane).
• Provide escorts to guests and employees as necessary.
• Monitor access control and surveillance as applicable.
• Review daily activity logs and payroll considerations for the department.
• Assist in fire or emergency response and document incidents.
