Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Security Officer to provide customer service and security for guests and staff, protecting people and property. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to security events throughout the hotel while maintaining safety procedures and records.

The role requires knowledge of safety regulations, incident documentation, and the ability to coordinate with EMS when needed. This position may involve night, weekend, and holiday shifts in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises, monitor entrances, control access, and respond to calls, alarms and emergencies.
• Record incident reports and communicate with police, fire agencies, Corporate Legal and Claims teams as needed.
• Investigate loss and safety incidents, ensure compliance with laws and hotel procedures, and document actions.
