Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a security team member for the Hilton Orrington Evanston location. You will perform protective and enforcement functions to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.

We value a self-starting, team-oriented attitude and the ability to communicate well with guests. The role requires familiarity with the building layout and surroundings, physical stamina, and readiness to work flexible hours in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Must have thorough knowledge of the layout of the building, function rooms, and some knowledge of the city and surrounding areas.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or move goods weighing up to 150 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform protective and enforcement functions in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats to life and property to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Be a team player and assist co-workers with their duties as needed.
