Job summary

Doubletree by Hilton- Colorado Springs is seeking a Hotel Security Guard to protect guests, team members, and property. You will patrol the premises, monitor surveillance, manage access control, and respond to emergencies with professional de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Prior security-related experience, ideally in a similar hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Patrols & Surveillance: routinely walk premises to deter crime and spot hazards.
• Monitor cameras and alarm systems from the command center.
• Access Control: restrict unauthorized individuals from staff/guest areas.
• Emergency Response: act as first responder for fires or medical incidents; assist evacuations; provide CPR/First Aid.
• Conflict Resolution & De-escalation: diffuse tense situations and escort trespassers off property.
• Guest Assistance: help guests with lockouts, safe escorts, lost property inquiries.
• Operational Duties
• Incident Reporting: document daily activities, irregularities, and incidents with detailed reports.
• Asset & Property Protection: safeguard assets and guest valuables; coordinate with housekeeping/front desk.
• Liaise with Law Enforcement: be primary contact for local police or fire departments.
