Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a part-time unarmed security officer to monitor hotel and resort areas, deter incidents, and assist guests and staff with courtesy and professionalism. You will conduct routine patrols, respond calmly to incidents, maintain access control, and document observations for leadership, with emphasis on teamwork and flexible scheduling.

The role requires minimum age and a high school diploma, with a background check and licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, hotel grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to maintain an orderly, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to leadership.
