Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled security leader for the Orlando property. You will direct, monitor, and support all hotel security programs to safeguard guests, associates, and vendors.

Expect hands-on rounds, incident reporting, and ongoing training of staff in emergency procedures. The role requires leadership under pressure, familiarity with CCTV and access control, and collaboration with department heads.

Qualifications

• Safety and security related courses are preferred.
• Must have basic First Aid training.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, security and safety programs, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and assist in all hotel security and safety programs.
• Complete daily hotel rounds and inspections for safety.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures (Fire, Medical, Weather, Bomb Threat).
• Maintain all security systems and incident reporting accurately.
• Train managers and associates on emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads and MODs to ensure security.
• Interview and discipline as needed.
• Maintain key control procedures with Chief Engineer.
