Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Safety and Security Officer to protect guests and staff at Isla Verde Beach. The role includes patrolling hotel premises, monitoring access, and responding to emergencies in accordance with hotel standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining incident logs, assisting during medical emergencies, and coordinating with authorities as required. Flexibility for long shifts and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Maintain visual contact with the Front Desk and lobby.
• Maintain and review daily activity log.
• Assist guests to their rooms according to hotel standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and other incidents as needed.
• Investigate incidents and document all reports clearly.
• Monitor access and ensure security of hotel premises.
