Job summary

Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and employees and safeguard hotel assets. You will patrol the property on foot, observe for safety risks, and respond to emergencies in a courteous, controlled manner.

You will handle security calls, document incidents, enforce hotel policies, and assist with guest needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor and a neat appearance as required by the team handbook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma preferred.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Knowledge of building layout and surrounding areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel interior and perimeter to identify safety risks.
• Communicate via pager and two-way radio; respond calmly to emergencies.
• Maintain order and assist guests with security needs.
• Answer security calls and document incidents.
• Enforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
