Job summary

IHG is seeking a Security Officer to provide customer service support while performing hotel security duties to ensure guest, employee, and property safety.

You will patrol the premises, monitor entrances, respond to alarms, document incidents, and assist with investigations as needed. The role may require CPR/First Aid training and knowledge of local laws; nights/weekends/holidays shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Communication skills are used when interacting with guests and employees.
• Certification in safety/training or licensed as Security Officer may be required; CPR/First Aid training highly desired.
• Knowledge of local laws, OSHA requirements, and life safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises, monitor entrances, control access, and respond to calls, alarms and emergencies.
• Record incident reports and communicate with police, fire services, and corporate teams as needed.
• Investigate loss and safety incidents and assist with investigations; may administer CPR as required.
