Job summary

The Nashville Downtown Hotel LLC is seeking a dedicated Security Officer responsible for the safety of guests, staff and property. You will respond promptly to incidents, monitor public spaces, and enforce hotel standards with a calm, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include conducting safety walkthroughs, reporting incidents, coordinating with emergency responders, and maintaining compliance with applicable safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Hotel security experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task under peak periods.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Be first responder in case of emergency and address safety concerns.
• Visually inspect hotel areas and conduct safety walkthroughs.
• Communicate calmly and give directions during emergencies.
• Adhere to safety standards and corporate procedures.
• Prepare safety and incident reports as needed.
• Address guest concerns and pursue issue resolution.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and guests.
