Job summary

The Gunter Hotel San Antonio is seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to lead sales operations and drive occupancy and ADR growth in coordination with the Director of Sales/Director of Sales & Marketing. You will oversee Sales Managers, drive direct sales, follow-up, and sales administration, while supporting hiring, training, and coaching.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, advertising, marketing plans, and ensuring revenue and profit goals are met.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant hotel sales experience or a college degree with related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for negotiation with clients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales administration tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate group, transient, and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize revenue.
• Develop and manage the division's annual budget and marketing plans.
• Conduct outside sales calls and entertain clients.
• Negotiate contract terms and monitor market trends.
• Train and supervise sales staff and ensure performance goals.
