Job summary

The Sales Manager at Remington Hotels Bastrop, TX drives occupancy and rates through proactive outside sales and strong account management. You will coordinate with hotel operations to maximize profitability by securing group business, proposals, and accurate room blocks.

You will conduct high-volume sales calls, prepare annual plans, and monitor weekly activity while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a successful, aggressive solicitation process involving outside sales calls, inside appointments, telephone calls, individual letter and direct mail. 80% of time should be spent in active sales solicitation.
• Assist the Director of Sales in the preparation of the annual marketing plan, including action plans for assigned market segments.
• Send proposals on all leads, fit property profile, and convert proposals to definite status; send confirmations promptly.
• Outline on booking sheets client room block, suite, and meeting space requirements.
• Obtain and route all necessary info on definite groups (billing, credit, rooming list, VIP arrangements); coordinate with catering.
• Maintain a sales quota as assigned by DOS; ensure customer satisfaction and guest focus.
• Prepare weekly sales call reports and itineraries; work with team and management.
