Job summary

Best Western Plus Provo University Inn in Provo, UT is seeking a Dual Hotel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, build lasting client relationships, and lead sales initiatives across corporate, group, and leisure segments.

You will conduct market analysis, coordinate promotions, travel for client visits, and collaborate with hotel leadership to achieve annual revenue goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Previous hotel sales or hospitality sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and achieve revenue goals.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with hotel leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel sales, CRM, or property management systems is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, workshops, conventions, and trade shows.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly sales call and prospecting goals.
  • Develop and solicit new corporate, group, and leisure business.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives.

  • Coordinate advertising, promotions, and community outreach efforts.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales activity reports to hotel leadership.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, contracts, and group files.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, universities, and community partners.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, client appreciation events, and community organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau.
  • Conduct hotel tours and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Travel as needed to meet with existing and potential customers.
  • Coordinate all aspects of group bookings and Meeting room events.
  • Ensure meeting and event details, payment information, and group resumes are accurate and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of meeting space, banquet services, audiovisual equipment, and event setup options.

Position Objective

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This role plays a vital part in enhancing the guest experience, promoting our hotels within the community, and supporting the overall success of the properties through a proactive, urgent, and can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
