Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland seeks a strategic Director of Sales to lead hotel sales, drive occupancy and revenue, and shape market position. You will lead a high‑performing team, develop sales plans, and align with operations to deliver guest experience and profitability.

The role reports to the Hotel Executive Committee, requires strong sales leadership, and offers a base salary plus a bonus up to 70% of base. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Three years of progressive leadership as Director of Sales or equivalent.
• Experience with development and execution of a sales/marketing plan; knowledge of forecasting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Maryland gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Attract and retain new and existing business.
• Train hotel sales staff to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Manage HR in the division: hire, train, develop, empower, coach, review performance and salaries.
• Meet monthly/annual booking goals by cultivating corporate, travel industry and other client relationships.
• Analyze competition and market trends to refine plans and programs.
• Lead division sales plans to maximize rate, occupancy and F&B opportunities.
• Perform special projects and participate in task forces as needed.
• Conduct property tours and participate in the Quality Program.
