Expotel Hospitality's Wyndham Garden Baronne Plaza in New Orleans is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the Sales Managers, Catering Managers, and Sales Administrators. You will drive direct sales, manage accounts, and coordinate group and catering sales to maximize rooms and catering revenue.

The role requires 6+ years in hotel sales or a relevant mix of education and experience, supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 5 years of hotel sales experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must have a driver's license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Sales Managers, Catering Managers, and Sales Administrators.
• Grow existing accounts and generate new business to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate group, transient, and catering bookings to maximize profits.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations and sales policies and ensure adherence by the team.
• Develop and maintain market awareness to anticipate revenue opportunities.
