Home2 Suites Greenwood SC is seeking a motivated sales professional to maximize guest bookings and banquet revenues. You will direct revenue activities aligned with the hotel's Business Plan, coordinate sales and service for guestrooms, catering, and events.

The role requires building relationships through site visits, calls, and proposals, qualifying leads, and coordinating with departments to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Branded hotel experience preferred
• Associate degree required; four-year degree preferred
• Brand certification programs are preferred
• Professionalism, honesty and punctuality are essential
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

• Increases sales volume and profitability by executing the Hotel Business Plan projects.
• Meets budgeted sales and profit margin by soliciting, evaluating, selling, and confirming business
• Qualifies prospective leads and designs programs to meet client needs
• Negotiates with clients to maximize profit while satisfying client needs
• Coordinates room commitments to ensure proper market mix
• Tracks negotiated rates and maintains filing systems per SOPs
• Oversees coordination of departments for booked business
• Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities for qualified clients
• Maintains safety and adheres to company SOPs
• Prepares reports for data-driven decision making
