Job summary

The Woodlands Resort is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to perform on-site protective and safety enforcement across the hotel complex. You will patrol interiors and perimeters, monitor life safety systems, and assist guests during emergencies while maintaining a professional appearance and strong communication with the team.

Ideal candidates will be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 150 lbs, and climb stairs or ladders as needed, with a focus on guest wellbeing and rapid,

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Clear guest communication is essential.
• Must be a team player and willing to pitch in.
• Strong knowledge of the building layout and safety considerations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods.
• Able to lift/carry up to 150 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Good hearing and vision to observe emergencies.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders when needed.
• Adapt communication style to audience and situations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel interiors and perimeter to identify security and safety risks.
• Monitor life safety systems and report alarms via radio to on-duty supervisor.
• Respond calmly to emergencies and enforce hotel policies for guest safety.
• Assist guests and coworkers; maintain order and safety across facilities.
• Provide timely verbal and written updates on incidents and concerns.
