Job summary

WinStar World Hotel is seeking a Rooms Preventative Maintenance Specialist to keep guest areas in top condition. You'll handle daily maintenance requests, inspections, and preventative tasks in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Must have paint and drywall experience; 2–3 years in a hotel maintenance role; strong problem-solving and the ability to work independently as part of a team. This full-time role offers competitive wages and growth opportunities with an energetic team.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Must have paint and drywall experience.
• Proficient with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general troubleshooting.
• Independent problem solver with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest service and respond to maintenance needs during guests' stays.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Monitor HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems and address issues promptly.
• Perform pool checks and regular refurbishment to keep areas guest-ready.
• Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping for smooth operations.
• Conduct safety and security inspections and respond to emergencies.
• Use digital systems to track maintenance work and report issues.
