Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs throughout the hotel. You will focus on identifying issues before they affect guests and work with the Chief Engineer and hotel leadership to keep rooms and spaces in top condition.

The role requires 3–5 years in hotel maintenance, a solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems, and the ability to document work clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hotel maintenance or facilities experience recommended.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Address maintenance concerns (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) promptly.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment, fixtures, and related components.
• Document preventive maintenance inspections and repairs in work orders.
• Assist with routine safety inspections and hotel projects as needed.
