Job summary

Hampton by Hilton in Waldorf, MD is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms in accordance with brand standards and to deliver an excellent guest experience.

You will clean rooms, change linens, restock supplies, report maintenance issues, and work with Front Desk and Engineering to ensure smooth operations. Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; weekend and holiday shifts may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and readiness for arriving guests.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and missing amenities to the appropriate department.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Properly handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, linens, and supplies.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and communicate special needs to management.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Follow lost-and-found procedures and protect guest privacy and belongings.
• Complete assigned rooms within established timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
• Work cooperatively with the housekeeping team, Front Desk, and Engineering.
