Job summary

Arbor Lodging Management is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests.

You will make beds, dust, replenish supplies, and respond to guest inquiries politely. This role supports a hospitable environment across properties, with a safety-conscious approach and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• A secondary school diploma is preferred.
• Previous hotel-related experience desired.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products a plus.
• Professional attitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for cleaning
• Make beds
• Dust rooms and furniture
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies
• Clean the bathroom
• Clean the closet
• Vacuum and rack the carpet
• Check and secure the rooms
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards)
• Ensure public areas, such as hallways, are cleaned and orderly
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Manage guest calls, requests, & complaints in the area assigned to them
• Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time
