Job Summary: We are looking for a Housekeeper/Room Attendant who will be responsible for maintaining the quality and timely cleanliness of all assigned areas of guest rooms and public/common areas.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of hotel guest rooms and public/common areas while adhering to standards set by the Housekeeping Manager and General Manager
• Comply with all safety guidelines
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Perform laundry duties as required
• Review daily inventory of supplies to ensure completion of assignments
• Clean hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, emptying wastebaskets, changing bed linens, and cleaning kitchenettes (if applicable), lobby, and common areas
• Ensure standards compliance with all placements of guest amenities, displays, and information cards
• Notify Housekeeping Manager of any repair requests needed for guest rooms and/or common areas
• Properly log, track, and secure any lost and found items
• Assist other staff members prior to departure for the day
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Regular attendance is essential
• May be required to work varying schedules and holidays
• Required to fully comply with all rules and regulations
• No formal training required
• Some experience in safety material handling and cleaning procedures preferred
• Work indoors and outdoors
• Often deal with hazardous materials, including bodily waste and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
