Primary Responsibilities
  1. Loading housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies
  2. Turns off all electricity (heating or cooling set to fan or cool setting)
  3. Strips all beds in checked-out rooms & drops all dirty linens to the laundry before any cleaning is done
  4. Turns off all lights, strips beds, & drops all dirty linens to the laundry on all new checked-out rooms immediately
  5. Cleans the cart & ensures that all bottles are correctly labeled
  6. Working in a fast-paced environment to ensure rooms are properly and thoroughly cleaned within 25 minutes.
  7. Obtains executive housekeeper’s signature on his/her work assignment sheet
  8. Vacuums & sweeps carpets & floors
  9. Dust & clean room decorations, appliances, & structural surfaces (i.e. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.)
  10. Clean showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items; removes used guest amenities & supplies
  11. Inspect rooms for safety hazards & for the operating conditions of equipment; check for damaged linens
  12. Report lost & found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems (i.e. pets in the room) to a supervisor
  13. Prepare rooms for guest arrivals & responds to special guest requests (i.e. delivering newspapers or cleaning a spill)
  14. Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms & stocks cart
  15. Remove & empties linens from housekeeping cart into laundry cart & sends to laundry
  16. Record room status on work assignment sheets
  17. Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
  1. Previous housekeeping experience required
  2. Attention to detail
  3. Previous customer service experience
  4. Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays
