A Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. This includes servicing guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures, stocking carts with supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest amenities while following safety and security standards. The role may also involve conducting deep cleaning activities and preventative maintenance tasks within guest rooms.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, with hotel or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to evaluate options quickly and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, service-oriented interactions with guests and staff.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Ensure safe and efficient hotel operations by complying with standards and regulations.
• Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms per shift requirements.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties, including preparing supplies and linen for carts.
• Remove trash and dirty linens from rooms.
• Perform other tasks as assigned, including disassembling furniture for deep cleaning and conducting maintenance tasks like changing filters or touch-up painting.
