Job summary

Generation Hospitality in Bozeman, MT, seeks a hospitality-focused server to ensure guests are served to the hotel’s standard in Restaurant/Bar/Lounge areas, delivering warm, timely, and efficient service.

You will take orders, serve and prepare beverages, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, greet guests, upsell specials, and maintain grooming and appearance standards while adhering to local licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Food handlers card and alcohol beverage service cards or other applicable licensing.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu, informs of daily specials.
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.
• Enter orders on the POS machine and note special requests.
• Coordinate with the bus person, kitchen, and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Server food and beverages to guests and ensure satisfaction.
• Observe guests and respond to additional requests.
• Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Assist other restaurant areas and complete financial transactions.
• Print closing report and drop cash deposits according to guidelines.
