Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Irvine, CA is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional service across our hotel dining venues. The RS sets up, serves, and breaks down the food and beverage areas, ensuring high quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction throughout each shift.

The role requires two years of server experience, strong English, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant, preferably fine dining.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must read, write and speak the English language fluently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally and respond to requests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Serve and portion food and beverages and check temperatures.
• Operate POS and handle cash according to policy.
• Check-in with tables to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas and equipment.
• Complete closing duties and reports as assigned.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
