General Responsibilities
- The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a great dining experience.
- Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Servers should be attentive to guest needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
Specific Responsibilities
- Prepare tables, lay out napkins and utensils, refill condiments, and perform other preparation tasks.
- Stay updated on menu choices, specialties, and deviations; monitor kitchen stock levels.
- Handle table bookings, direct customers to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist with drink selection, inform about food prep, and communicate customer needs to kitchen staff.
- Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling needs, offering desserts and drinks, clearing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
- Prepare mixed drinks and serve wine tableside.
- Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed.
- Assist with special events when needed.
- Greet guests warmly and adhere to grooming standards.
- Understand and communicate product and service details.
- Have basic knowledge of cooking skills.
