Job summary

The Lakehouse Resort in Lake San Marcos, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to join our team. You will perform repairs and routine maintenance to keep the property safe and visually appealing, while assisting with janitorial and maintenance support and responding to guest requests.

Responsibilities include inspecting fixtures, painting, pool upkeep, landscape-related tasks, and coordinating with management on small projects.

Qualifications

• General construction experience required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Be a team player.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
• Able to stand, walk, and sit up to 8 hours in a single day.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, taste, smell.
• Able to work outdoors; may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions including rain, cold, direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
• Able to work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance throughout the property.
• Visually inspect fixtures, lighting and other equipment for repairs or replacements.
• Power washing to maintain visually appealing property.
• Pool maintenance as needed, check Ph levels, perform visual checks, etc.
• Painting as needed throughout the property.
• Air conditioning upkeep and repair.
• Respond to all guest needs as expeditiously as possible.
• Property safety and security walks to secure property.
• Respond to any security related calls such as noise complaint, medical/fire etc.
• Assist with small projects throughout the property, as needed from Management.
• Perform other tasks assigned.
