Job summary

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville seeks a diligent Purchasing and Storeroom Clerk to oversee receiving of products and guest packages, including shipping and delivering items to hotel departments. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential for using Birchstreet and the procurement system.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays, and prior experience in receiving or storeroom operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• 1-2 years of receiving, inventory, purchasing, or hotel storeroom experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads all hotel receiving of product, and internal and guest packages including shipping & delivering packages to the various departments throughout the hotel, and receiving invoices and packing information electronically through the hotel’s online procurement system.
• Check in all incoming products and guest packages; ship guest packages and in-house needs.
• Must be able to lift a moderate weight and stand for extended periods.
